A simple machine setup checklist

Build a repeatable routine before each embroidery session.

Prepare your machine

Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning and maintenance instructions. Inspect the needle, check the bobbin and thread the machine as recommended.

Load and check your design

Confirm format, orientation and finished size. Use the machine’s boundary check when available and keep hands away from the moving hoop.

Make a test stitch-out

Use matching fabric and stabilizer. Watch the first color section and stop the machine before investigating any unusual noise or thread break.
